The Zambia National Tourism Board based on data from their global awareness/marketing efforts in place are noting an increase of about 15-28% in number of visitors coming to the country. For example the board recorded a total arrivals record increase of over 20% from 515,000 to 682,000 visitors in 2005. The arrivals record figure is a total of all non-Zambians entering the country. The latest arrivals based on 2007 stands at 805,059 visitors.
